Safety relay PNOZ

Safety switching devices are essential constituents of safety technology. This safety relay with positively driven contacts is used for the implementation of safety functions such as emergency stop or the monitoring of safety doors.

This type of safety relay is based on the safety switching device for the emergency stop function and the safety door in Festo Didactic’s equipment set TP 250, Safety in pneumatic systems. The PNOZ S4 safety relay from Pilz is used in the equipment set. Correct wiring of the safety switching device is described in the operating instructions included with the PNOZ S4.
