Wattmeter
The wattmeter is used to measure effective power in electric circuits. It’s equipped with a current path (terminals 1 and 3) and a voltage path (terminals 4 and 2). The wattmeter multiplies measured values for voltage and current with each other and displays the result. Connect the measuring instrument’s current path like an ammeter and the voltage path like a voltmeter.
Apparent power, reactive power and power factor can be measured with this wattmeter in addition to effective power.
