2N3820, P-channel JFET transistor
A junction gate field-effect transistor (JFET) controls the electrical current that flows through the channel between the source and drain terminals, by using a junction between the gate terminal and the channel.
Depending on doping type, JFETs are classified in two types: n-channel and p-channel JFETs.
