Bi-directional pressure relief valve
In initial position the valve is closed. When the differential pressure between ports 1 and 2 exceeds the opening pressure, the valve starts to open, regardless of flow direction.
The pressure regulation range dp specifies the additional differential pressure above the opening pressure, at which the valve is completely opened (p1 – p2 > p0 + dp or p2 – p1 > p0 + dp).
The hydraulic resistance relates to the completely opened valve.
A leakage flow from port 1 to 2 can be specified.
